The Balance Between Customer Service And Resource...

The main objective of nicola is to find the balance between customer service and resource utilization, so at nice framing ,in order to meet the demands of the customer and able to satisfy their needs ,it was necessary to have a good levels of finished stock . This actually meant that Nicola needed to have enough raw materials at all times. Thus availability of a wide variety of stock meant that she actually have an edge over its competitors. In order to use her resources , she used to make little batches of same size frames instead of one at a time and the unused stock was kept for future use .The stock which was not in use does effect her working capital but not for long because of its dedication towards her customers by meeting there demand at all times. Nicola’s business of Nice Framing was to put main focus on the customers , as the business is now growing because of its customer focus service , but the main reason of this was because it has many raw materials and had a wide variety of finished framed pictures in stock to wait for the customer’s choice . Those critical factors includes : 1.) Increasing customer’s satisfaction 2.) Nicola’s reputation has been built because of her reliability and responsiveness.
